Viscosity
Basic principle

1、Torsion Pendulum Method (Torsion Pendulum High Temperature Viscometer)

Testing principle:

By rotating and vibrating the sample liquid in the container, internal friction occurs between liquid molecules. Determine the logarithmic decay rate of rotation and obtain viscosity data based on the relationship between logarithmic decay rate and viscosity.

2、Rotary method (two products, "Rotary high-temperature molten salt viscosity tester (low viscosity)" and "Rotary high-temperature vacuum viscosity tester (high viscosity)")

Testing principle:

The rotor rotates around the central axis under external forces, driving the flow of interstitial fluid. The rotor is subjected to the force from maintaining the rotation of the rotor and the shear stress generated by the viscous properties of the fluid to be tested. By measuring the force, the viscosity value of the interstitial fluid can be measured.

Advantage

1、Torsion pendulum method

1. The measurement of the cycle can be accurate to milliseconds, and the resolution of viscosity testing is high;

2. Especially suitable for measuring low viscosity liquids, it is currently the only mature method for measuring the viscosity of metal liquids.

2、Rotation method

1. Direct measurement method, without the need for other physical parameters, can directly measure the viscosity value of the sample;

2. Wide application range, suitable for measuring high, medium, and low viscosity liquids.
