According to theArchimedes Principle, the buoyancy of an object immersed in a liquid is equal to the gravity of the same volume of liquid displaced by the object. We use a heavy hammer with a known volume to measure the changes in mass in air and melt, and then we can calculate the density of the melt.
1. Considering the influence of volume expansion of the heavy hammer and surface tension of the suspension wire, volume expansion and surface tension correction terms were introduced in data processing, making the test results more accurate;
2. The temperature thermocouple is in direct contact with the sample to be tested, making the correspondence between sample temperature and density more accurate.
