The electrode and sample crucible are combined to form a conductivity cell. The constant of the conductivity cell is continuously changed by controlling the depth of electrode immersion in the crucible. The resistance of the conductivity cell sample is measured by a digital bridge and linearly correlated with the depth of electrode immersion in the sample, thereby calculating the conductivity of the sample.
